Parekh is a senior advocate of the Supreme Court of India, president of the Confederation of Indian Bar, and former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association. From 1975–2006 he headed P.H. Senator Richard Blumenthal delivered an address about proposed legislation to reform the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Read more about the legislation. Sworn in on January 5, 2011, Richard Blumenthal is serving his first term as a United States Senator from the State of Connecticut. Senator Blumenthal served an unprecedented five terms as Connecticut’s Attorney General, fighting for people against large and powerful special interests.
