Book Launch – The Brazilian Legal Profession in the Age of Globalization
The Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession, together with our partners at FGV DIREITO SP, will host a major book launch event on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM at the offices of Pinheiro Neto Advogados in São Paulo, Brazil to celebrate the publication of The Brazilian Legal Profession in the Age of Globalization: The Rise of the Corporate Legal Sector and its Impact on Lawyers and Society
(Cambridge University Press, 2018). The book, which is the pinnacle of a six-year research project on the topic, is already being hailed as one of the most comprehensive and important studies ever done on the Brazilian legal profession. This event offers an opportunity to celebrate the book’s launch, report on its major findings, and discuss plans for how to move the project and the Brazilian legal profession forward.
