Michael Moradzadeh

Michael is the CEO and a managing partner of Rimon. He is in charge of strategic partnerships and recruiting for the firm. He was recognized by the American Bar Association Journal as a top innovator and legal rebel in 2012. Michael’s practice focuses on technology company representation. He represents both companies and investors in investment rounds and stock sales. He has worked on deals ranging from small angel investments to representing a private equity firm in a $6 billion acquisition. He is also heavily involved in secondary markets of private stock, representing sellers of restricted stock in Facebook, Twitter, Zynga, SolarCity, Dropbox, Bloom Engergy, Gilt Groupe, Etsy and other pre-IPO companies. Internationally, Michael represented Bain Capital and Morgan Stanley in their international investment funds and has worked with foreign counsel in 130 jurisdictions on several international securities deals.

Michael serves as a corporate officer of two non-profit robotics corporations. He sits on the boards of AJC and the Palo Alto Area Bar Association and is on the American Bar Association’s Advisory Panel. Prior to Rimon, Michael practiced corporate law at Ropes & Gray, LLP in San Francisco. Michael also worked at the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco. Before law school Michael worked for several high-tech companies in the Silicon Valley including Napster and Check Point Software, as well as Silicon Valley law firms Capstone Law Group and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Michael also co-founded EZ Web Mall in 1997. Michael lives in Burlingame, California with his wife and two daughters.

Yaacov Silberman is a Managing Partner of Rimon, focusing on the internal operations and infrastructure of the firm. Mr. Silberman’s innovations with Rimon have appeared in a wide array of publications, including The Economist, The American Lawyer, AmLaw’s Law Technology News, Bloomberg, the California Daily Journal, the San Francisco Business Times, eLawyering and the National Post. He has been characterized as a “Legal Rebel” by the American Bar Association for his role in developing Rimon’s alternative business model. Mr. Silberman’s practice currently focuses on private equity, leveraged buyouts, and securities representation of founders, executives, and employees of some of the largest private companies in the world. He offers counsel on private sales of stock of Facebook, Twitter, Zynga, Bloom Energy, Gilt Groupe, Solar City and other pre-IPO companies.

Mr. Silberman is a frequent volunteer for Legal Services for Entrepreneurs, a division of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, and serves on the board of directors of Refugee Transitions. He is also a frequent speaker on the topic of cloud computing and Internet technologies in the legal industry. Prior to Rimon, Mr. Silberman was an attorney with the private equity and debt finance practice group of Ropes & Gray, LLP. Mr. Silberman also clerked for Judge A. Jay Cristol of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. Before law school Mr. Silberman was the Assistant Director of Web Content for, one of the earliest legal resource websites on the Internet.
