Goodwin Liu co-authors new paper on “Asian American Perceptions of Inequality in the Legal Profession”

Goodwin Liu, Associate Justice, California Supreme Court and Senior Research Fellow, HLS Center on the Legal Profession, has co-authored a new paper, “The ‘Bamboo Ceiling’ in Law: Asian American Perceptions of Inequality in the Legal Profession,” with Shih-Chun “Steven” Chien and Ajay K. Mehrotra. The paper, which is out now in the Russell Sage Foundation Journal of the Social Sciences, examines the disparity between Asian Americans entering law school and the overwhelming low numbers in the leadership ranks in the legal profession.
