The Business of Democracy

A Special Black History Month Program “The Business of Democracy” featuring Special Advisors to the ABA Task Force for American Democracy, Kenneth Frazier, the former CEO of Merck, and Kenneth Chenault, the former CEO of American Express, in conversation with Paulette Brown, Past ABA President (2015-2016) and the first women of color in this role.  Topics will range from corporate and social activism, the impact of the Supreme Court’s affirmative action decision on the business community, how lawyers can pursue a career path in the corporate sector, their work on the ABA’s Task Force for American Democracy, and more.
