How Brazilian Judges Are Breaking New Ground

On April 5, the Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession hosted the kickoff event for the Harvard Law School chapter of the Brazil Conference at Harvard and MIT with “How Brazilian Judges Are Breaking New Ground.” The event featured a conversation with Luís Roberto Barroso, Chief Justice of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil and Martha Minow, 300th Anniversary University Professor at Harvard Law School that centered on the use AI in the courts and access to justice. The conversation was moderated by Giovana Carneiro, LL.M. Candidate at Harvard Law School.

The event continued with a panel discussion on “Innovative Mediation Models for Environmental and Human RIghts Crises,” featuring:
