Rohit Pothukuchi

Rohit’s research interests are at the intersection of impact measurement and law. He is working on identifying more empirical methodologies to measure the impact of AI on legal practice.
Rohit is the Founder & CEO of Verdentum, a technology platform focused on impact measurement and statistical analysis of social and economic development issues.
He is also Partner & Head of Platform at Pamir Ventures, a venture capital fund, and leads companies in the chemical engineering and rare botanicals spaces. Rohit started his career with White & Case LLP, a leading international law firm, in NYC. Prior to joining the firm he spent a summer working under Justice J. Chelameswar at the Supreme Court of India. Rohit has been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School, serves on the Advisory Board of the Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust, and has also been an advisor to the Telangana State Innovation Cell. He has consulted with the UN Human Settlements Program, and is an Economics, Law, and Data Senior Fellow at the New Markets Lab.
Rohit was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 for his efforts to standardize legal citation in India and has spoken at forums including UNESCO, UNHABITAT, the OECD, the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Harvard Law School, and the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. He is a graduate of Cambridge University, the UC Berkeley School of Law, and the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research in India.
