Harvard Law’s David Wilkins discusses upcoming conference on the role of ESG

CLP Faculty Director David Wilkins spoke to HLS about the September 15 conference, “Reimagining the Role of Business in the Public Square.” As Wilkins says: “There’s been a lot of talk from corporate leaders and critics, but what there hasn’t been is enough discussion around how we make ESG commitments measurable, accountable, and effective. … we hope to put some clarity around what the real debate is, about what’s at stake, and how to bring some serious academic rigor to thinking about these questions.”
